HLA 72-Inch High Dump Skid Steer Bucket

Overview

HLA's high dump bucket increases dump height by approximately 48 inches compared to a standard skid steer bucket — allowing material to be placed into bins, hoppers, and truck boxes that a standard skid steer cannot reach. Ontario-manufactured by Horst Welding. Features soft-stop cylinders to reduce vibration and HD buffers. Available from 60 to 96-inch widths. Particularly useful for Canadian aggregate, composting, and waste operations.

Canada Availability

Canadian-manufactured by Horst Welding (Listowel, ON). Available through HLA dealers and Langner Equipment. Pricing on application.

Is This Right For You?

✅ Buy if…

  • You move high-volume, low-density material: mulch, wood chips, snow, or loose compost
  • You want more cubic yards per pass without exceeding your machine's weight limit

⛔ Skip if…

  • Your material is heavy (gravel, soil, rock) — the thin bucket walls will wear fast
  • You need a bucket that doubles for digging or grading

🔍 Also consider…

  • GP bucket if you split time between light and heavy material
  • Snow pusher if snow moving is your primary winter task
🔧 Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all skid steer brands via universal SSQA quick attach. No auxiliary hydraulics required — operates off the loader arms.
