TMG Industrial TMG-SBF72 72" 4-in-1 Bucket

Overview

The TMG-SBF72 is a 72-inch 4-in-1 skid steer bucket that functions as a standard GP bucket, a bottom-opening clamshell, a dozer blade, and a material scraper. The NM400 steel cutting blade is a hardened wear steel grade rated for abrasive materials. Bucket capacity is 12.25 cubic feet (0.35 m³) and maximum load is 1,545 lbs. The 30-inch jaw opening handles most common tasks when used in clamshell mode—grading soil, picking up debris, or carrying and dumping loose material without needing to reposition. Hydraulic flow connects via NPT ½-inch flat quick connectors. At 700 lbs it fits mid-frame and larger machines without eating into their usable payload.

Is This Right For You?

✅ Buy if…

  • You want one bucket that can grab, grade, spread, and load without switching attachments
  • You do finish grading or move loose material piles on the same site

⛔ Skip if…

  • Your priority is capacity and speed — a GP bucket moves more per cycle
  • The added weight of the 4-in-1 mechanism pushes you near your machine's ROC limit

🔍 Also consider…

  • GP bucket if capacity per cycle is more important than versatility
  • Industrial grapple if bulk debris handling is a bigger priority than bucket work
🔧 Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all skid steer brands via universal SSQA quick attach. No auxiliary hydraulics required — operates off the loader arms.
