TMG GB72 72-inch grapple bucket for skid steer

Overview

The TMG-GB72 is a solid-bottom grapple bucket combining the scoop capability of a GP bucket with twin independent hydraulic clamping arms. At 72 inches wide, it handles brush pickup, waste removal, scrap sorting, and general material moving. The ¾-inch hardened cutting edge scrapes cleanly along the ground, and the 4-inch primary frame tubing keeps the structure rigid under repeated load cycles. Dual cylinders deliver up to 3,000 lb of grappling force with a 35-inch grab opening. Fits standard SSQA mount. For Canadian operators who want one attachment to move both loose debris and solid material without swapping implements.

Key Facts

Is This Right For You?

✅ Buy if…

  • You need more versatility than a bucket — grab, hold, and move irregular loads
  • You clear brush, debris, or demolition material where a bucket loses control of the load

⛔ Skip if…

  • Dense, uniform material (gravel, sand, soil) is better handled by a GP bucket with more capacity per cycle
  • The grapple weight would push you near your machine's ROC limit with this load type

🔍 Also consider…

  • GP bucket for high-volume dense material work
  • Root grapple for brush-heavy clearing jobs
🔧 Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid to large-frame machines (S450–S750 class) are the best fit for this width.
