TMG SDR72 72-inch root and debris rake attachment for skid steer

Overview

The TMG-SDR72 is a 72-inch skid steer root debris rake for land clearing, property cleanup, and site preparation. Reinforced curved weld-on teeth comb the ground without deep digging, making it effective for removing surface roots, rocks, and debris from forestry sites, demolition yards, and acreage cleanup. The 3x3-inch primary cross beam frame is powder-coated for rust and corrosion resistance. Built-in 25-inch kickstands on each side let you set the rake down upright when not in use. At 510 lbs it stays well within most machines' usable payload. Universal SSQA mount. Carrier range: 30–50 HP skid steers.

Key Facts

Is This Right For You?

✅ Buy if…

  • You clear brush, saplings, slash, and debris that a bucket can't grip
  • You work on land clearing, right-of-way maintenance, or post-harvest cleanup

⛔ Skip if…

  • You move dense solid loads like rock, sand, or gravel — a grapple loses material through the tines
  • Your primary task is loading trucks — a GP bucket is faster for dense material

🔍 Also consider…

  • Industrial grapple if you also handle large rocks or demolition debris
  • Stump grinder if stump removal is part of the job
🔧 Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid to large-frame machines (S450–S750 class) are the best fit for this width.
