The LP78 sits between the LP72 and LP84 in John Deere's Worksite Pro land plane lineup, offering a 78-inch working width for sites where the smaller model isn't wide enough but the largest adds unnecessary bulk. At 891 pounds, it's solid enough for finish-grade work in typical Canadian conditions. Both front and rear cutting edges let you grade in forward or reverse without repositioning. The optional multi-shank scarifier (hydraulic activation available) loosens compacted ground ahead of the blade. Good choice for driveway, acreage, and light site-development finish work.
