Overview
Case Construction Equipment's heavy-duty post driver delivers greater impact force than the standard model, designed for larger diameter fence posts, highway barrier posts, and agricultural posts in tough Canadian terrain — including frozen ground and heavy clay. The hydraulic percussion drive handles larger posts that standard drivers cannot reliably seat. Case's broad Canadian dealer network provides quick parts and service access across the country. Compatible with standard SSQA mounts. Available through Case Construction Equipment dealers across Canada.

Is This Right For You?
✅ Buy if…
- You drive large wood fence posts, landscape timbers, or round posts into hard or rocky ground
- Farm fencing, ranch infrastructure, or commercial property perimeter fencing where post size is large
- Impact force matters more than speed — heavy drivers hit harder for difficult soils and large post diameters
⛔ Skip if…
- You're installing standard T-posts in soft ground — a standard or vibratory driver is faster and cheaper
- Weight is a concern on your machine — heavy-duty drivers add significant weight to the front
🔍 Also consider…
- Standard hydraulic post driver for T-posts and normal fence post work
- Vibratory post driver for faster installation in soft-to-medium soils
🔧 Machine Compatibility
Designed for Case machines but mounts to any skid steer or CTL with a universal SSQA quick-attach plate.

Care & Maintenance
- Grease all impact guide bushings and driver head fittings before every use — the impact energy transmits through these components on every blow
- Inspect driver cap or guide inserts after every session — worn or cracked guide caps split wood posts and bend T-posts, which then jam inside the driver tube
- Check hydraulic hose connections and the pressure accumulator (if equipped) before each use
- After work in clay or mud, clean the guide tube interior to prevent soil compaction that restricts post insertion and causes the posts to jam
- Inspect the impact guide rod monthly for scoring or deformation — a scored rod causes erratic impact energy and accelerated bushing wear
