HLA 60-Inch Power Rake for Skid Steers

Overview

HLA Attachments' 60-inch power rake is designed for smaller-frame skid steers working residential lots, narrow seedbeds, and landscaping projects where the standard 72-inch width is too wide. Ontario-built by Horst Welding. A 60-inch hydraulic rotor handles soil conditioning and seedbed preparation in tighter spaces — between planters, along house foundations, and on narrow lot lines.

Canada Availability

Available in Canada through HLA Attachments dealers. Ontario-manufactured by Horst Welding.

Best for: residential seedbed prep, narrow landscaping sites

Is This Right For You?

✅ Buy if…

  • You prep lawns, subdivision lots, or acreage for seeding — power rakes clear debris and till in one pass
  • Spring cleanup or post-construction site restoration is a regular part of your work
  • You need to remove rocks, sticks, and surface debris while grading to a final seed-ready surface

⛔ Skip if…

  • Heavy clay, packed gravel, or compacted subsoil is your main challenge — a soil conditioner tills deeper
  • You're doing large-scale tillage — a rototiller covers more depth per pass on agricultural ground

🔍 Also consider…

  • Soil conditioner for deeper tilling on compacted or clay-heavy ground
  • Landscape rake for light debris cleanup without tine-tilling
🔧 Machine Compatibility

Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid to large-frame machines (S450–S750 class) are the best fit for this width.
