Overview
Blue Diamond's 66-inch rototiller prepares garden beds, food plots, and seedbeds for seeding with a skid steer. The rotating tine assembly breaks up and aerates topsoil to the desired depth. The 66-inch working width is a mid-size option suited for mid-size skid steers on farm, acreage, and commercial landscaping work. Available through Blue Diamond's Canadian dealer network.

Is This Right For You?
✅ Buy if…
- You till garden beds, market garden rows, or agricultural plots for seeding — rototillers produce a fine seedbed
- Established lawn renovation or new sod prep where deep tilling and mixing is required
- You want to incorporate compost, fertilizer, or amendments into soil as you till
⛔ Skip if…
- Your goal is just rock/debris removal and surface grading — a power rake or soil conditioner does that faster
- Rocky ground is your primary challenge — a rototiller will damage quickly on heavy rocks
🔍 Also consider…
- Soil conditioner/power box rake for surface prep and debris removal without deep tilling
- Power rake if you just need final seedbed preparation without deep incorporation
🔧 Machine Compatibility
Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid to large-frame machines (S450–S750 class) are the best fit for this width.

Care & Maintenance
- Inspect carbide rotor teeth after every use — chipped or worn teeth cut unevenly and increase hydraulic motor load significantly
- Replace teeth in matched pairs across the rotor to maintain balance — uneven tooth wear creates vibration that stresses motor bearings and the drive system
- Grease rotor shaft bearing housings after every 8 hours of operation
- Clean packed soil from behind the rotor guard and between tooth mounts after every use — buildup restricts rotation and can cause the rotor to stall in normal material
- Check the hydraulic motor drive coupler and belts (if belt-driven) for wear weekly during active season — belt failure in the middle of a job is a common and avoidable breakdown
