Is This Right For You?
✅ Buy if…
- You mow ditches, roadsides, pastures, or acreage where contained discharge matters — flails don't throw rocks
- Golf courses, parks, municipal rights-of-way, or any site where flying debris risk is a concern
- You want a mulching cut rather than a raw-discharge mow — flails produce finer material
⛔ Skip if…
- Pure production speed is your goal and debris risk is low — a rotary cutter covers more ground per hour
- Heavy brush over 3 inches is your main vegetation — a brush cutter or mulcher handles that range better
🔍 Also consider…
- Rotary cutter for faster coverage on low-risk open land
- Brush mulcher for heavy overgrowth and woody vegetation
🔧 Machine Compatibility
Compatible with all skid steer brands and compact track loaders via universal SSQA quick attach. Mid-frame machines (S450–S650 class) are the most common fit.

Care & Maintenance
- Inspect all flail hammers before every use — broken or missing hammers unbalance the rotor; a single missing hammer at high RPM creates destructive vibration
- Replace flail hammers in matched sets to maintain rotor balance — even one missing hammer causes vibration that damages drive motor bearings
- Grease rotor shaft bearing housings after every 8 hours of cutting
- Remove wrapped wire, twine, and root material from around the rotor shaft after every session — wrapped material cuts through shaft seals and causes bearing contamination
- Check the hydraulic motor case drain line for leakage after extended work in thick material — a restricted drain causes shaft seal failure and catastrophic motor damage
How to Connect
- Attach frame using Bob-Tach
- Connect high-flow hydraulic couplers
- Run rotor at idle for 20 seconds before engaging full speed
- Test stall protection if equipped
⚠ Safety NoteKeep bystanders 100m+ clear. Flying debris is serious risk.
