Case Skid Steer Attachments — Compatibility Guide
Case skid steers — the SR and SV series — are well-regarded for their visibility, comfort, and reliability on Canadian construction and municipal job sites. They use the standard universal quick-attach system, which gives broad third-party attachment compatibility. Here's the flow and compatibility data you need before buying attachments.
Case Construction Equipment is part of CNH Industrial, giving it strong dealer infrastructure across Canada. The SR (radial lift) and SV (vertical lift) series machines share hydraulic architecture but differ in lift path — SR for general-purpose work, SV for elevated material placement. Both share the same quick-attach standard and similar flow specs within the same size class. Case machines are particularly common in Ontario and the prairies for municipal and ag applications.

Quick-Attach System: Case Universal Fit
Case skid steers use the standard universal quick-attach (QA) plate system. This means:
- All universal quick-attach attachments — from any manufacturer — fit Case SR/SV machines directly. No adapters required.
- Case's own attachment line uses the same standard QA plate, offering seamless OEM integration.
- Third-party attachments from HLA, TMG, Virnig, Werk-Brau, Erskine, Fecon, and similar Canadian-market brands mount directly.
- Bobcat Bob-Tach attachments require a Case adapter plate (available through Case dealers).
What You Can Run on a Case

High-Flow Required High Flow
SV vs SR: which matters for attachments? The lift path (radial vs vertical) doesn't affect attachment compatibility — it affects how the machine lifts. SR is better for ground-level work (grading, material handling at truck bed height); SV is better for elevated placement (stacking pallets, loading into containers). The attachment selection is identical for both lift styles.
What to Ask Your Dealer
- "What is the aux hydraulic flow on this machine?" Get the GPM number — standard and high-flow if configured. Don't assume from the model designation alone.
- "Is this SR or SV configuration, and does it have high-flow installed?" High-flow is an option on SR240 and SR270 — confirm it's present on used machines.
- "What auxiliary hydraulic coupler style is installed?" Case machines typically use flat-face hydraulic couplers. Some older machines use poppet-style. Verify coupler style matches the attachment you're buying.
- "Is there an EH (electro-hydraulic) or manual aux control on this machine?" EH machines provide proportional aux flow control. Manual machines have on/off aux. Some attachments benefit from proportional control; most work fine with either.
