Overview
The DB120 is John Deere's 120-inch (10-foot) dozer blade — the widest straight blade in the Worksite Pro line, designed for large-frame machines doing large-scale site prep, field clearing, and heavy grading work. At 10 feet, the DB120 moves more material per pass than any other blade in the series and is suited to the most powerful skid steers and large CTLs in John Deere's lineup. Blade oscillates 5 degrees left or right. Like all DB series blades, the DB120 is a dozer blade — not designed for snow removal. Canadian resource road builders, large site contractors, and land clearing operations use it to push and spread material quickly over wide areas.

Is This Right For You?
✅ Buy if…
- You push material forward in a straight line: stockpile cleanup, rough site clearing, or road building
- You need basic grading on unpaved surfaces and already own or operate a skid steer
⛔ Skip if…
- Angle control or cast direction matters — a 4-way or 6-way blade is worth the upgrade for that work
- Finish grading is your goal — a box blade or land plane gives you far more control of the final surface
🔍 Also consider…
- 4-way or 6-way dozer blade if you need angle control
- Box blade or land plane if finish grading is the primary task
🔧 Machine Compatibility
Compatible with compact track loaders and large-frame skid steers (S750+ class). Verify your machine's rated operating capacity (ROC) before ordering.
About John Deere in Canada
John Deere attachments are available through an extensive Canadian dealer network, ensuring local service, parts availability, and warranty support coast to coast. Designed to pair with JD machines but compatible with any skid steer via universal quick attach.
Care & Maintenance
- Grease all hydraulic cylinder pin fittings before every use session — dry pins accelerate wear in the cylinder bores and cause premature side-loading
- Inspect the cutting edge for wear or deformation after hard use — replace bolt-on edges when worn to avoid transferring impact to the blade frame
- Check hydraulic coupler connections for leaks weekly — dozer blade circuits cycle frequently and coupler seals wear faster than on less-cycled attachments
- Inspect tilt and angle cylinder rod seals for leaks after use in abrasive or sandy soil — grit scoring a rod seal causes accelerating internal leakage
- Clean the blade face and frame before storage — mud pockets hold moisture against bare steel and cause rust pitting during off-season storage
How to Connect
- Attach blade frame to Bob-Tach
- If 6-way blade: connect tilt and angle hydraulic circuits (both sides)
- Test all blade movements (up/down, tilt left/right, angle) before working
⚠ Safety NoteSome dozer blades have hydraulic float position — engage float for finish grading
